Summary of Qualifications

The ideal candidate will be goal-oriented; possess excellent leadership and interpersonal skills; exhibit strong data analysis ability; and be fully committed to the environment and social justice mission of the organization. 

The Growth Manager’s priorities will be to 1) create a growth plan based on current trends and situational analysis, 2) manage execution of plan across the departments (executive, operations, marketing, diversion), and 3) optimize revenue funnel. 

The Growth Manager must be a team player and work closely with the Marketing Manager to identify important data trends and insights relevant for customer acquisition and retention. The Growth Manager will oversee the Marketing Manager, her production plans, material creation, brand management, and social media execution. 

Other qualifications include, 5+ years of experience in business development or growth management, statistical analysis education, strong written and verbal skills, and an ability to work in a fast-paced environment. 

  • Excellent written/verbal communication skills

  • 3-4 years outbound sales experience, preferably in an inside sales, high-velocity sales environment

  • CRM experience preferred·

  • Ability to understand customer needs and meet that need with a successful product sale

  • Consistent success with sales quota attainment

  • Motivation, drive and a self-starting attitude

  • Strong problem-solving skill

  • Team player, strong collaborator

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment

  • Strong time management and organization

Summary of Duties

The Growth Manager will be responsible for identifying opportunities and managing all aspects of business growth including the analysis and development of commercial and residential markets, property management and multi-business coops and shopping centers, municipal relationship management, centralized community dockstop partnerships, and multifamily complex development. 

The ideal candidate will work well both independently and as part of a team, will be goal oriented, and will possess excellent communication and leadership skills and professional demeanor. 

The essential duties and responsibilities include the following: 

  • Situational Analysis 

  • Development of growth plan 

  • Manage execution of growth plan across departments

  • Manage database and optimize funnel 

  • Oversee and collaborate with marketing team 

  • Maintain consistent adherence to strategic goals and plan 

  • Prepare customer proposals and service agreements 

  • Manage potential and existing customer relationships 

  • Identify and expand community dropoff partnerships and locations

  • Oversee monthly newsletters and communications to existing and potential customers 

  • Cultivate and improve community partnerships by attending and participating in public events, meetings and other programs on behalf of the organization

  • Demonstrate proficiency with tools and software required to execute responsibilities effectively
