Hope through Education

Through our Green Core Training (GCT) program, your neighbors facing employment barriers gain environmental literacy and career skills, earn industry certifications, and step confidently into long-term, meaningful work in the green economy.

More than 380 students have completed the program so far — each building stability for themselves, their families, and their future.

Hope through Climate Action

Your donation also strengthens KC’s regional composting system. Together, we’ve diverted nearly 8 million pounds of Kansas City’s food waste from landfills so far, preventing millions of pounds of harmful greenhouse gases.

That waste has instead become nutrient-rich compost which supports local farms, gardens, and green spaces — improving water retention, reducing soil erosion, and helping recapture carbon from the air.
